Tonya is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She started Sandia Skin + Face Med Spa in 2018 with her husband of 25 years, Dr. Eric Tuggle, a board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and Cosmetic Facial Surgeon. She first received a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Abilene Christian University and practiced as a CPA for several years. In 2018, she graduated from CNM and became a Registered Nurse. In 2021, she graduated from Simmons University as a board-certified Nurse Practitioner.
She has been practicing in medical aesthetics for over seven years and has an eye for maximizing aesthetic outcomes for patients. For the past two years, she has been named Top 10 in the state of New Mexico for Botox and Juvederm providers, and she was named the top Sciton laser provider in the state. She offers training sessions for peers in lasers and injections such as neurotoxins and dermal fillers.
Tonya and Eric have three daughters and attend Calvary Church. In her free time, Tonya enjoys playing tennis and pickleball, skiing, running, reading, and hanging out with her family.
